In 2016 I visited Bangkok, a place I hadn’t been to in nearly ten years. That was back before I started taking photography more seriously, so it was nice to return with a better camera and a more ‘photographic’ mentality. The first stop, though, was the Royal Barge Museum that holds and displays the boats used for royal processions on the river. It’s a great place to visit, all the more so because it seems to attract only a fraction of the numbers that head for the many temples around the city. Here are a few shots of the spectacular carved figureheads of the barges on display.
